Lover of Cats
CRAZY
ABOUT KITTIES
Since I'm a single woman, my cats are like my
kids. So here are the obligatory pictures with the gushing
descriptions. Forgive me if I brag, but my cats are just about
the most perfect cats in the world.
Tansing is a nine-year
old Himalayan. Named after a village in the Himalayans, Tani
spends most of her day sleeping under my bed. She was the last of
the litter and on her way to the pound when I got her from the
breeder. She's shy around strangers, but rules the roost with the
other two cats. Yes, she looks grumpy in the photo but that's the
way she always looks. Like me, she loves to eat, although I
haven't found a way to use Science Diet in a casserole.
Tibriz
came to me three years ago from the Humane Society and is a
tortie Persian mix. She got sick a few days after I brought her
home and I
nursed her back to health. She's rewarded me by being the
sweetest, most loyal cat I've ever owned. Tibi's usually not more
than a few feet away and she's the first thing I see in the
morning (usually a close-up as she nudges me with her nose). Like
me, she loves to curl up in bed for an afternoon nap.
Tallasse
is the newest addition to the family. She's a calico with a goofy
disposition. I got her from the Humane Society just a few months
ago. I didn't intend to have three cats, but I saw a picture of
her and couldn't resist - she spoke to me. As the newcomer, Tally
has suffered through a lot of growling and hissing from Tansing,
but hopefully Tani will learn to love her as much as I do. And
like me, Tally loves to sit at the window on a sunny afternoon
and listen to the birds singing.
